Supportive International Holdings Berhad is listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia and wholly owns Supportive Technology Sdn Bhd, a leading one-stop OEM & ODM of plastic and wooden audio speaker systems in Malaysia. The holding company required an online presence in which they were able to inform their shareholders, and NIS assisted by providing them a website which can do so.
A sensible layout.
The content of the website was rather specific. Therefore, NIS chose a two-column layout for the website. We carefully selected suitable pictures for each of the navigation item. These pictures are chosen as they relate to the content of the page.
The main navigation is strategically placed just below the logo at the top of the page. This provides the viewers with easy and intuitive access to the rest of the pages within the website.
A matching set of colours.
Supportive's logo has been well-established. Therefore, for NIS, it was only logical to choose the colour of the logo as the background of the website. To avoid overwhelming the website with the strong colour of the logo, we balanced the website with a neutral shade of grey which is associated with business and professionalism.
Throughout the website, the colour of the logo was also applied to the navigation, title headings and links. This way, viewers will be able to differentiate the various forms of content in the website.
Information at a click of the mouse.
Important information such as the link to its subsidiary, the awards and recognitions the company have received and the company's emphasis on quality control are displayed on the home page itself. Together with the main navigation on the top of each page, any information required can be easily found without having to explore deep into the website. This makes Supportive's website extremely viewer-friendly.
Made to be searchable.
The content in Supportive's website are in text form, and not image. NIS has always adhered to the principle of text over image as it improves the performance of the website in search engine rankings.
