Palacetool is a tooling works manufacturer which utilises state-of-the-art technology and equipment. As part of the supporting industry, Palacetool required an online presence complete with a company profile to remain a strong competitor in its industry.
Consistency is the key.
NIS provided a consistency to both Palacetool's website and company profile based on its logo. Against a white background, the colour of Palacetool's logo was used in all important highlights such as the navigation, links, headers and column orders. The typography of the headings for both the website and the company profile were made similar. We gave focus to this important element, more so because Palacetool's website enables the viewer to download the company profile. Hence, consistency is a priority in establishing the identity of Palacetool.
A company profile which fulfills its purpose.
As Palacetool's website provides a link whereby the company profile can be downloaded, NIS considered it more economical if the company profile for Palacetool is printed in small quantities. With that in mind, we created a concise company profile for Palacetool in which most of the pages were dedicated towards Palacetool's facilities. We understand that the company profile must fulfill its main purpose i.e. to provide a direct answer to the most important question that its customers would pose - is Palacetool capable of providing the solutions I am looking for?
We wanted to carry Palacetool's badge of efficiency to its company profile. Therefore, we created the company profile in the form of a booklet. The layout of the text and images are standardised. For example, the font, size and colour for all headings, sub-headings, content, and image captions conform to one format, and all images are set in proportion to each other. Images are adjusted and placed exactly within the set margins. The result was a company profile which is systematic in its approach, layout and design.
Copywriting and editing text.
It is not just the spelling, or the grammar that we look out for - it is the style and the way the content is written. The content for Palacetool's website and company profile was shaped to portray Palacetool's efficiency. The headings and sub-headings act as a quick summary of the content to follow. The content itself is kept at a professional level using standard industry terms.
Easy to edit, easy to search.
For its website, they are able to edit the content of their website in a few simple steps as we employed a content management system (CMS). They are able to update their website with the latest news, showcase new facilities and products and also put up new job vacancies.
To improve Palacetool's rankings on the search engine, all content are in the form of text (not image). We also included a sitemap for the website. On the home page, we placed a summary of its core business and tooling facilities. This enables viewers to ascertain quickly Palacetool's services. A drop-down menu is used as the navigation for easy access to any information within the website. Google map is incorporated into the contact details section of the website.
Photographs of the company are used as the banner in the form of a slideshow. Key facts of the company are used as captions for the photographs.
