
Biosis is a brand of safe and effective skin care products which are halal. Biosis works by controlling free radical damage through efficient utilisation of nature's resources to provide youthful and radiant skin. Biosis requested NIS to provide an online presence and a marketing kit targeted towards dealers.
Inspired by nature.
In line with its logo, NIS decided that the prevailing theme for both the website and the marketing kit would be 'nature'. As it is important for skincare to be associated with cleanliness, we used white as the background. Elements such as navigation, heading, sub-heading, shading, and borders for charts and pictures use the colour of the logo. A combination of nature-inspired photographs are used as the banner for the website, and incorporated into Biosis' marketing kit.
The Biosis brand on an online platform.
The layout for the website is kept simple and clutter-free. Instead of using black, we chose to use grey for the contents. By doing so, the website appears much cleaner. Navigation is placed on the top and sub-navigations to the left of the screen. These positions have always been the best in terms of viewer usability.
Some other functions which are added into the website to enhance viewer usability is a search function within the website, a sitemap for quick accessibility, a customer feedback form, and Google map. NIS also provided a content management system (CMS) as this enables the management of Biosis to update their promotions regularly and their latest news. By doing so, they can greatly improve on their presence in popular search engines.
Biosis and the dealership.
NIS offered several items in its marketing kit. Firstly, NIS created a mini-sized booklet which introduces Biosis' products and contains information on the Biosis dealership. Besides allocating one page per product, NIS also created a chart to pair skin conditions to suitable products. An introductory Biosis basic products package is included as well. This gives prospective dealers an idea on how easy it would be to sell Biosis products to consumers.
As the Biosis brand is new, NIS accommodated the fact that new products will be rolled out and information within the booklet can change. Therefore, we created the booklet in a way where the management of Biosis were able to print the booklets themselves as and when they are needed.
A presentation to woo.
Secondly, we created a slideshow presentation of the Biosis brand. The presentation is a great accompaniment to explain the idea behind Biosis, the products and the dealership. The presentation was also to be given to prospective dealers in the form of a CD. To avoid information from the presentation to be copied, we made it into a movie. The CD was labelled with the design from Biosis' website and boxed with a similar design as well.
