
Dejoyce Beauty Centre is a beauty salon with 3 centres located in various prime areas in Penang. Dejoyce enjoys a wide base of loyal customers. However, they wanted to capture the younger crowd.
Beauty goes online.
NIS started off with providing Dejoyce a website. In line with Dejoyce's logo, we used the purple in the logo against white as the colours for the website. All important information such as contact numbers and on-going promotions are placed on the home page itself.
Photographs of the salon is used as the banner. To provide some interactivity to the home page, we have included a scrolling album of photographs whereby viewers can choose to stop at any of the photos for a closer look. Using the photographs as the focus of the website is the best way to enlighten the viewers on Dejoyce's professional, clean and modern approach to their beauty centres.
Recruiting new members to their loyalty program.
Dejoyce needed an application form for which we provided the artwork. We used elements from their logo to create the form. Floral motives with very light shades of pink and purple were used as the background. This way, we were able to maintain the identity of Dejoyce and yet still able to provide a clear form in which applicants can easily fill in their particulars.
NIS also worked on the program poster to inform customers of the loyalty program. For the poster, we also used floral motives in shades of pink and purple. These elements appear strongly in the poster to capture the attention of the customers. However, we did not want the motives to overshadow the content. Therefore, we used a white background, with clear typography in black (for the program information) as this has been universally recognised as the most readable format.
Loyalty card and coupons for the applicants.
Without straying away from the elements of the application form and poster, NIS also applied floral motives as the background for the card. To give the VIP card a fresh twist, we included a vector of a trendy young woman on the card. In effect, this hints that Dejoyce keeps up with the trends of time.
NIS brought the trendy young woman idea to the coupons. We included a vector of a young woman to correspond to each coupon type and each coupon type sports a different colour for easy recognition. The coupons were created in accordance to the size of the loyalty card so that they are easy to carry. With such a small canvas, we were able to successfully fit in the terms and conditions of the coupon, space for company stamp, and space for effective dates of the coupon.
